PROJECT: South Seattle Community College, Industrial Education Training Facility

Hayre McElroy & Associates is providing project geotechnical oversight, and special inspection and materials testing services during construction of a new 53,000 sf training facility at the South Seattle Community College, Duwamish Industrial Education Center. The project is a joint venture with DC 5 Painters and the Allied Trades Apprenticeship Trust. Geotechnical oversight and quality assurance inspection and testing includes:

• Auger-cast-in-place concrete piles to a depth of 80 feet
• Utilities and earthwork
• Structural concrete
• Structural Masonry
• Epoxy Anchors
• Structural steel and welding
• Asphalt and concrete pavement
• Drainage and erosion control (TESC requirements)
