PROJECT: Ballard Landmark Inn
Hayre McElroy & Associates is providing special inspection and materials testing services for the 10-story Ballard (Seattle) Landmark
Inn Condominium/Apartment project. The project includes approximately 190,000 sf of upscale residential living, and three floors of
underground parking. The lowest parking garage floor consists of slab-on-grade, with the remaining 12 floors of post-tensioned concrete.
A combination of concrete column and wood framing is used for the vertical construction. Quality assurance inspection and testing
includes the following:
- Structural and Post-tensioned concrete
- Structural Masonry
- On-site and Fabrication Shop Welding
- Shotcrete
- Seismic hold-downs and anchors
- Lateral wood fabrication facility inspections
- Lateral wood field framing
