PROJECT: Swedish South Addition Phase II, Garage and Plaza

Hayre McElroy & Associates is providing special inspection and materials testing services during construction of a new 46,000 sf plaza and 45,000 sf underground parking garage at the Swedish Medical Providence Campus. The building construction will include slab-on-grade for the lowest parking level P3, followed by a suspended concrete structural slab for levels P2 through the plaza level. Additional construction items include shotcrete excavation support, limited masonry, structural steel framing and bolting, pedestrian pathways, entry roads, and canopy. The project is oversight and quality assurance inspection and testing includes:

• Soil nailing and grouting
• Shotcrete (temporary and permanent)
• Post-tensioned suspended decks
• Structural masonry and brick veneer
• Structural cast-in-place concrete
• Drilled epoxy anchor bolt
• Structural steel welding and fabrication
